Volunteer at Solent Sky and help preserve one of Britain’s foremost aircraft collections.

Solent Sky Aviation Museum in Southampton depends on support from local people to remain open to the public. Our volunteers are at the heart of Solent Sky’s daily operations, and we offer a very unique volunteering experience working amid some of the greatest icons of British aviation, including the legendary Spitfire. Our volunteers conduct guided tours of the flight deck of our giant four-engined flying boat, supervise our ‘jet fighter experience’ area and serve customers in the museum’s gift shop.

Volunteering at Solent Sky has many benefits, including the chance to learn new skills and meet new people, not to mention preserving some of the rarest aircraft in the world. So take on a challenge and make a difference in your area – volunteer at Solent Sky!
